This oil painting shows a horse-drawn green carriage with two passengers travelling down a snow-covered road, pulled by two chestnut horses with their breath visible in the cold air. A running dog and a motor bus approaching from behind add further motion to the wintry scene, which is set beside frosted trees and a small snow-roofed house. The work is titled Wintry landscape with horse and carriage, was created by Karl Hansen Reistrup, and is dated 1928.
