This hand-colored map shows the village of Lockport in Niagara County, New York, with its street grid, waterways, canal, and railway lines marked in fine linework and washes of green and tan. A decorative Greek key border frames the sheet, and a compass rose and title cartouche appear in the lower portion. The work is dated 1851 and attributed to Augustus Köllner.
