A brown wash and pen drawing shows a wooden drawbridge spanning a narrow waterway, with a rider on horseback crossing its deck. Two people row a small boat below, and a sailboat drifts in the distance beyond the bridge. The inscription reads "Draw at Longbridge, Washington City" and is dated 1839, and the work is attributed to Augustus Köllner.
