About this work
A pencil sketch shows the Harrison House in Virginia, a two-story building with a central entrance and scaffolding on its chimneys, set among trees and open ground. Handwritten notes on the sheet read "Harrison House, Va" and "Wood. Hay photograph," and a tree fills the right edge. The drawing is attributed to Alfred Waud and dated 1862.
