A pencil sketch shows a mounted officer holding a ragged regimental flag on a white horse, gesturing to infantry soldiers with raised rifles while smoke rises behind them. Handwritten notes on the sheet read "White horse, ragged flag" and "Genl. Warren rallying the Marylanders," and the drawing is attributed to Alfred Waud, dated 1864.
