About this work
A pencil drawing in side elevation shows a large three-masted sailing warship with rigging, gunports along its hull, and a row of buildings on a quay at the left. Smaller sketches of a paddle steamer and a rowboat appear at the top, and a cross-section style view of a vessel appears at the bottom. The work is attributed to Alfred Waud and dated 1860.
