About this work

A multi-panel illustrated page shows a crowd of children and adults walking from a Sunday school room through a stone archway toward a moving-picture show. Vignettes at the top and bottom contrast the road of virtue and the devil's recruiting station, a figure of Saint Peter at heaven's gate, and a ticket booth where children buy admission to the films. The page is titled Young America and the Moving-Picture Show, attributed to L. M. Glackens, dated 1910.
