A Japanese woodblock print shows an oversized hand with a red and black sleeve reaching down to grasp a walled fortress complex on the coast, with ships and hills in the background. A column of Japanese text and the caption "The Japanese Army grasps Port Arthur" appear in the upper part of the sheet. The work is attributed to Kobayashi Kiyochika and dated 1904.
