A richly detailed still life shows an ornate gilded goblet, a blue and red cloisonné vase, a silver-gilt tankard with a figural finial, and a jeweled silver dish arranged on an embroidered blue cloth. A carved wooden cabinet and a closed book sit behind the objects against a gold patterned wall. The painting is signed Max Schödl and dated 1895 in the upper right corner.
