About this work

A rural family gathers beside a farmhouse on a sunny day, with a farmer lifting a small child toward a branch heavy with plums while older children reach up and a woman sits nearby. The painting shows a barn wall, a wooden bench with a fur blanket, a rooster in the yard, and a hazy mountain landscape beyond.
