About this work

A seated female nude is rendered in faceted, angular planes of muted flesh tones, set against a fragmented background of blue, orange, yellow and red geometric shapes. A still life of a bowl of fruit and a pale pedestal appears at the right, and red drapery fills the lower foreground.
