About this work
A pencil drawing in a Cubist-influenced style shows a bearded male figure with arrows piercing his body, set among stylized leaves and blossoms at the top. Faint construction lines and geometric planes overlay the figure, revealing the underlying preparatory structure. This work by Bohumil Kubišta, Svatý Šebestián, dates from 1912 and is held in the drawing collection of the National Gallery in Prague.
