A pen-and-ink street scene shows a busy square in front of a neoclassical building with columns and flags, with a more ornate building at left. Crowds of figures in period dress walk among horse-drawn carriages and a tram. The sheet bears a handwritten verse at top and a caption identifying the square as the Leidseplein in 1885, signed by Greive.
