This plate shows three views of a carved wooden church chair from Bø in Telemark, Norway, drawn in fine line work. The front and side elevations reveal foliate scrollwork, arcaded balusters, a carved lion, and a row of figures along the top of the central back panel. The print is catalogued as Johan Christian Dahl's plate from 1837, labelled Tab. IX.
