About this work
An engraved print shows the hulk Dreadnought, a 104-gun ship, moored on the water with its hull lettered Seamen's Hospital, Supported by Voluntary Contributions, For Seamen of All Nations. Small boats, rowers and sailing vessels surround it, with domed buildings visible on the shore. The work is credited to Edward William Cooke and dated 1857.
