This painting, titled Market Scene and attributed to Franz von Persoglia, shows a bustling outdoor market in which a vendor in a brown blouse hands fruit across a table to a young woman in a red bodice and brown skirt. Crates of cabbages, apples, grapes and tomatoes fill the foreground, while parasols and figures fill the sunlit square behind them.
