About this work

A stylized magazine cover shows two older children standing with their backs to the viewer and a small toddler seated on the ground beside them, a ball resting in the lower right. A figure sits on a green park bench beneath a dotted tree, and the words NUEVO MUNDO appear across the top with a price marking of 40 céntimos. The flat, outlined forms in red, black, green and cream are signed Barradas and dated 1919.
