About this work
A woodcut-style print shows three standing women in elaborate period dress, each identified by an inscription across the top as Lucretia, Veturia and Virginia. The central figure wears a jeweled headdress with a feather and holds a braid, while the figure on the left grips a sword and the figure on the right holds a small tower-shaped model.
