About this work
This engraved print titled Rustick Dancers shows barefoot peasant dancers in a rural setting, with a seated flute player and older onlookers beside a cottage doorway. The inscription records that it is after an original drawing by John Hamilton Mortimer, and the plate was etched by R. Blyth and published in London in 1780.
