About this work
A charcoal and pencil study on tan paper shows a reclining female figure with long, windswept hair, one hand gripping her head and her face turned upward in an expression of distress. The loose, fluid lines of the hair and drapery extend across the lower part of the sheet, and the artist's signature appears in the lower right corner.
