About this work

This engraved print shows two oval bust portraits side by side, a man with long hair, a mustache and a lace collar on the left, and a woman with curled hair, pearls and a lace collar on the right. Inscriptions beneath each portrait give the sitters' royal titles, and the lower right corner bears the engraver's signature and the date 1641.
