About this work

This drawn and etched print shows women at the water's edge in a dim, misty seascape, with one figure bending over in the foreground and others at the top of the scene. A large pale rock formation with a carved-looking face rises from the waves on the right, while the sea and sky are rendered in soft, horizontal hatched tones.
