This engraved frontispiece shows the Virgin Mary seated on a cloud, surrounded by putti and angel heads, above two standing bishops with haloes. A central cartouche bears the title Breviarium Parisiense, and the lower plaque is inscribed Parisiis M.DC.XLIII.
