This hand-coloured aquatint shows a large banyan tree with long hanging aerial roots spreading over a small whitewashed shrine with an inscribed panel and carved relief figures. A carved stone platform stands beside the tree, and two figures in wraps are shown near the shrine while a seated figure rests at the right edge. The print is titled Oriental Scenery Fig 15, made by Thomas Daniell in 1795.
