A black-and-white reproduction of a painted alpine scene showing a small stone-and-timber hut with a chimney perched on a snowy rocky ledge. A flagpole rises beside it, and steep dark peaks and a glacier fill the background under a pale sky. The image was published in the 1894 journal of the German and Austrian Alpine Club and is credited to Michael Zeno Diemer, with the print made by Albert Frisch in Berlin.
