About this work

A pencil study on tan paper divides the sheet into a grid of rectangular compartments filled with simplified symbols, including a clock face, a stylized face, a house-like triangle, a sun, and a star. Light hatching shades several panels, giving the composition a constructed, tile-like rhythm.
