About this work
A nude woman with long auburn hair stands beside a classical stone fountain, holding a white cloth raised above her head while water spills from a carved lion-head spout into a basin. A red drapery lies on the marble ledge beneath her feet, which are fastened in tan sandals. The painting is signed by Virgilio Tojetti and dated 1894 in its lower corner, and it is titled Bath Time.
