This gold-ground print by Katsushika Hokusai shows an armoured archer drawing a bow beneath a pine tree while several muscular, sprawling figures sprawl on the ground before him and a bare-chested giant stands at left beside a basket of fish. Two birds fly through the upper area, and vertical calligraphy inscriptions run down the left side, with waves rendered behind the rocks.
