About this work

A colour illustration shows a blindfolded, winged allegorical figure holding a sword and scales of justice above steps. A kneeling woman in red grips the cloak of a hunched figure with a band reading "PREJUDICE," while a pale figure lies at the base of the steps. The printed caption reads "Women Writers' Suffrage League" and the work is credited to William Henry Margetson, presented to the league in 1909.
