A winter landscape shows a snowy road lined with tall bare trees, along which men drive a herd of cattle and sheep under a sky of cumulus clouds. On a frozen waterway at left, figures skate and pull a sledge, while dogs trot along the road. This work, Winterlandscape with cattle drivers, is by Eugène Verboeckhoven, dated 1863.
