This black-and-white wood engraving shows a medieval battle, with a young armored figure in the foreground being seized by enemy soldiers while others fight on horseback behind him. The page carries a German heading about the last great knightly battle on German soil and a caption naming the capture of Friedrich the Handsome of Austria at the Battle of Mühldorf on 28 September 1322.
