About this work

A charcoal drawing on cream paper shows a standing male nude in profile, arms crossed over the chest and head turned to the left. Soft shading models the musculature of the legs, torso and shoulders, and the signature in the lower right reads E. Vi. with a Paris annotation. The work is dated 1893 and is attributed to Eliseu Visconti.
