This hand-colored print shows a rural farmyard beneath a thatched barn roof, where women in traditional costume, children, and a dog gather near a wicker basket and a wooden gate. A man looks out from a doorway on the left, and a large tree stands at the right edge of the scene. The work is credited to Sigmund Freudenberger and carries the inscription "Les Chanteuses du Mois de May" along the lower margin.
