About this work

A lithographic print shows the Calvaire de Tronoën, a stone calvary with three crucifixes rising above a tiered base. Carved figures in robes and armor, some carrying crosses, populate the upper platform, while a lower register of kneeling and standing figures fills the base reliefs. The print is attributed to Victor Petit and dated 1846.
