About this work
An engraved portrait shows a bearded, crowned older man in a fur-trimmed robe and wide-brimmed hat, holding a star-topped scepter while a lion rests beside him. A classical column and architectural setting appear behind him, and a Latin inscription runs along the bottom edge.
