About this work
A black and white print shows the Place du Châtelet and the Pont au Change over the Seine, with a domed theatre facade, a Gothic tower, and a tall column rising above a row of bare plane trees. Two small rowing boats and moored barges float on the river beneath the arches of the bridge, which bears a medallion with the letter N. This 1876 print by Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer is held by Wikimedia Commons.
