About this work
This engraved print shows the interior of the church of Saint-Julien le Pauvre as it appeared at the time, with ribbed vaults, clustered columns and pointed arches. Worshippers sit and kneel near the altar at the far end of the nave, and a hanging lamp hangs in the centre. The work is attributed to Theodor Josef Hubert Hoffbauer.
