This black and white engraved view shows the town of Bingen beside a broad river, with a tall church bearing two spires at the center. A stone arched bridge crosses the water, while hills rise on both sides and a ruined castle sits on the slope to the right. Small boats and a seated fisherman on the rocks suggest everyday river life. The work is credited to Clarkson Frederick Stanfield.
