About this work

A rider in a light linen shirt and feathered cap sits on a dark horse, leading a grey horse across a dusty dirt path. A white dog leaps beside them, while another rider and horses cross the open plain in the distance, and a cluster of geese and farm buildings sits to the left under a broad cloudy sky.
