About this work
A hand-colored woodcut-style illustration shows an armored knight in a pink tunic and steel plate armor, holding a sword and shield and standing on a grassy patch. Beside him is a heraldic coat of arms with a blue field bearing golden cone-like charges, a black and white quartered shield, a helm, a gold crown, and a green fir tree on top. The page carries a decorative inscription heading naming the figure, from the Truchsessenchronik, attributed to Hans Burgkmair.
