About this work
A standing man in a long dark robe and fur-trimmed hat is shown beside a bishop's mitre, a crozier, and two heraldic shields, one blue with three gold leaves and one with black lions on white. The hand-colored woodcut sits on a manuscript-style page with an ornate inscription naming Herr Walther Truchsess above the figure.
