About this work
A hand-colored illustration on a manuscript page shows an armored knight with a red-bearded face, holding a sword and standing on a grassy patch. Beside him is a heraldic shield bearing a blue field with golden hop-like charges, topped by a helmet, crown, and green tree, with a smaller shield showing a bull's head.
