About this work
A hand-colored woodcut-style page shows an armored man with a spiked mace and sword standing on a grassy mound beside a heraldic shield bearing a blue field with golden cones and a red and white banded shield, topped by a helmet, crown and fir tree. The page carries a decorative title at top and a monogram near the base.
