About this work
A hand-colored woodcut-style illustration shows a mustached armored knight in chainmail and a red tunic, holding a spear and a blue shield decorated with golden hop plants, standing on a grassy patch. Above him are a helmet with a crown and a green tree-like crest, and the page carries two lines of Gothic script naming Herr Haimwich Truchsess and Herr Eberhart Truchsess.
