About this work

The Blue Jacket by Henry Scott Tuke shows a nude young male figure seen from behind, one arm raised to his head and the other holding a blue cloth. The loose, textured brushwork places the figure against a rocky, sunlit landscape with a second blue-clad figure at the left edge.
