This tempera panel shows the Virgin seated in a red dress and blue mantle, holding the Christ Child, with four angels with golden halos behind her. A gilded architectural frame with a pediment depicting the Redeemer surmounts the scene, and an inscription in Latin runs along the base. The work is attributed to Zanobi Strozzi and dated 1450.
