About this work

A sunlit courtyard is filled with terracotta pots of flowers and shrubs lining a tiled walkway beside a pool with water lilies. Whitewashed buildings with clay roof tiles, iron grilles and a tall palm frame the scene, while two figures tend the plants near the water.
