About this work
This oil painting shows a sunlit waterfront with moored sailing boats and masts along the quay, a red brick building on the left, and a domed church with a golden finial in the middle distance. Small figures walk along the stone quay under a cloudy sky, and the painting is signed and dated 1922 by Italico Brass.
