About this work
A monochrome reproduction shows the ruined remains of a chapel, with a steep gabled wall rising above a deeply moulded round-headed arch with zigzag ornament and carved capitals. Fallen stone, overgrown foliage and a broken slab occupy the foreground, while a partial wall and narrow window stand to the right.
