A pencil study shows two bookplate designs, with the right one fully developed and bearing the Latin inscription "Ex Libris" above and "Comitis Thomas Potocki" below. The central shield displays a heraldic emblem framed by ornate scrollwork and foliate flourishes. The left design is a lighter, less finished sketch of the same format, and the work is attributed to Władysław Skoczylas.
